Employees

To read, understand, and comply with this company’s safety policy, safe work practices, procedures and rules;
Work in compliance with OH&S regulatory requirements;
To wear the safety equipment and personal protective devices and clothing required by regulations, by his/her employer and/or required by the Primary Contractor;
To notify his/her supervisor of any unsafe conditions or acts;
To report all near-misses, accidents and injuries to his/her supervisor immediately;
To report to supervisor any known missing or defective tools, equipment or protective device;
To take every reasonable precaution to protect the safety of other workers and himself/herself;
To participate in Safety Meetings and toolbox talks as provided by the DeFord or the Primary Contractor
Right to know, the right to participate and the right to refuse to do any work deemed unsafe for yourself or others around.
