Visitors

Various representatives of engineering firms, clients, inspectors, and any other persons who visit DeFord’s projects/premises/departments have the status of visitor. Visitors shall follow DeFord’s Health and Safety policies and procedures while they are located at DeFord’s projects/premises/departments. Before visitors are allowed to visit work areas they must:

• Have an authorized company representative authorize the purpose of the visit, and ensure the visitor has the appropriate PPE;
• The person authorizing the visit must ensure that the visitor has signed in;
• The visitor will be accompanied for the duration of the visit;
• The person authorizing the visit must ensure that the visitor has signed out when leaving the project.
